8. You Are Something Else with That Sword
It’s time for more of the epic highs and lows of Canaan House. In episode 8, we recap Gideon and Harrow’s triumph over the winnowing trial and the tragic discovery of Magnus and Abigail’s bodies in Chapters 16-17. After another vocabulary quiz to familiarize ourselves with more of the fun words Tamsyn keeps throwing at us, we pay homage to the deceased Fifth House necromancer and cavalier with a discussion of their relationship and how Gideon the Ninth takes a turn into murder mystery territory after their deaths and shares some notable parallels with And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie (cw: discussion of suicide in both texts).
